SORRY – experiencing mass email overload. Glad you found the forum.
What is your site name or domain name? And which video did you use? Someone can probably help out here 🙂

Is this where I go to ask a question? I am completely lost. I seen a guy on YouTube named Greg, or at least that is what he called himself, and I believe, from what he says anyway, that he can help in improving this site. You can find him on YouTube.com/How to build a website in wordpress-2016/Greg Norayal. When I went to read the posts at the bottom of his video I was told to go to: https://goo.gl/oqqJ6K. It took me an half hour to register to get on this site and now I’m lost. I believe you are sincere in what you are trying to do, and I hope God blesses you, but hell man I am confused. Please contact Greg, I’m sure he can help you build a friendlier website. And if you are able to locate him please forward my contact info: firstname.lastname@example.org. I’m willing to pay for his help.9 months ago gnarayanKeymaster
Yes this is the right place to go! You can ask any question here and get free wordpress help or ask on youtube comments. Registering will help people get to know you and you won’t have to enter your details each time, just log in and ask!
No need to pay but thank you for offering, this is all free help.

As a fellow New Yorker, I want to thank kindly for your Video tutorial on youtube with the Create a EComm website with Kadence virtue. I have never though I could build any site, let alone a Ecomm site. Your are a great teacher and also have great style.
I am not quite done yet with the site, I still have to build out the link pages for all of the buttons, but I plan to get them done this week. Our site is Big Time Supply . com
I do have some questions on making it better as far as the home page goes:
1. I would like to put a row of Text in the under main menu and below that a long search bar. Any idea how I can do that?
2. The Menu Photos I have below the slider did not come out like I wanted. I was looking to have the text below the picture. Is there a different way I can achieve this with a widget?
3. How do I make the main menu a drop down type menu?
That is it for now. I am so grateful for your help. I’m not sure which side of NY you are on, I’m on the Western most side so if you are near or come this way I’d gladly treat you to some lunch or whatever.

Hi Robbie, I’m Cori and one of Greg’s support team. He will be happy to read your lovely message of how his tutorial helped you set up your website. I noticed you have a few questions here. I’m happy to see if we can get this sorted out for you. Your website looks good. You’ve got a great start there!
1. To put a row of text under the search bar and under menu
-Add a row, add a text widget, write the text you want, save and update to see your changes.
– if the added text doesn’t center below the search bar or where you want it…
The row can be in more sections to align correctly. You can also center text to left, right or center.
Might take a few tries to get it right. If you have any trouble with it let us know. We’re here to help.
2. To add text below your four photos that are below your slider…
– The answer here is pretty much the same as the above.
-You would either duplicate the row where your pictures are…the row looks to be in four section layout. Or add a new 4 section row.
– insert into each section your text widgets and add your text.Save and update.
3. To create a drop down menu.
Greg has a short tutorial on how to accomplish this. The answer to your question is I think about 3/4 into the video.

Let’s see if I can add to Cori’s amazing response above.
You can add a row of text under the Slider just like the demo text by dragging Home Widget Area to enabled and then adding widgets to it in Customize. Here are two screenshots of how to do this from the demo site!
If that setup isn’t enough homepage customization, the other option you have is install Page Builder by Site Origin plugin, and create a custom Front Page using Rows, Widgets, etc.
Keep adding to your site and play around! I checked it out, nice work and looks like good place to shop!
As far as lunch, thanks for your offer, I usually just power through a sandwich in 5 minutes though! If we meet up at a WordPress conference or something, for sure!
I have tried both Cori’s way and your way and neither allows me to add any text nor a search bar to the right of my logo under the main menu. When I tried it Cori’s way, it showed up as a photo with the text below the slider. When I tried your method it showed up below the slider as well but just text. I want to fill in the empty space under the main menu with a large long search bar and have a line of text below that. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks for your input
