I’m relatively new to WordPress, I normally work with in front end design however I’m comfortable with code so I just need to learn the ins and outs of WP.
My question is in regards to the Dashboard, normally the menu on the side displays many options such as pages, plugins ect however on my current project the only thing I have access to are the media and appearances tabs… (photo attached)
I’m not the admin on the account, so I don’t know if this is an access issue or if its something I’m not doing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.1 year ago CoriModerator
Hi Chris, Happy to try and help you. Can you resend the photo? For some reason, I can’t see it in your comment. What role where you given to access the account? It is possible you have limited access either by role or an installed plugin.
- There are a few plugins admins can install to limit a users access to full dashboard capabilities. If you are not able to view installed plugins then you may need to contact the administrator of the account.
- The admin can check installed plugins to see if there is one installed and activated that limits user access. In that case, the admin will have to deactivate or uninstall the plugin to grant you access.
